Matra wood pellet reviews

We use hammer hot ones for years and when we buy our pellet the guy gave me 2 bags of Matra to try . Well, I must say the heat is awsome somehow better than hammer Very low ash. There is a smell but that’s ok!

The Matra 100% softwood pellet is great. I usually burn a hardwood pellet. I decided to try a few bags and now I am buying by the ton. Great heat and very low ash. Plus I like the pine smell.

Solid perform at the $250 a ton price point in the RI/MA area. Nice long burn time, sub <.25% ash. These pellets left almost nothing in the burn pot on my Quadrafire Mt. Vernon insert. Decently clean burner with expected amount of bag dust. Bags were a bit thin and can rip easily when handling. Found to have a lower BTU than expected but does make for a comfortable Fall/Spring pellet. Not sure they can keep up with sub 20° winter wind. Not bad choice for the milder winter.

Not a huge fan.
Pros- the heat production is good and very low ash
Cons- pellet has a distinct unpleasant smell and it’s a dirty pellet leaving my glass black as well as the inside.

In conclusion, Matra Wood Pellet is an excellent source of renewable energy that is good for the environment. It is a cost-effective way to heat your home, and it is also a great way to reduce your carbon footprint. I encourage you to try Matra Wood Pellet and see for yourself how great it is.
